Why IEC Focuses on Institutional English Training Instead of Public Classes

Since 2003, we have built our experience around professional English training designed for organisations. Rather than offering standard public classes, we work directly with institutions to develop training that reflects their objectives, participants and working environment.

Why IEC Does Not Offer Public Classes

We regularly receive enquiries from individuals looking for open-enrolment English classes. We want to make our approach clear: IEC does not offer public or open-enrolment classes.

This is a deliberate choice.

Our training model is centred on institutional needs. By working with organisations rather than running general public classes, we can design programmes around the participants’ English levels, professional responsibilities and communication requirements.

This allows us to focus our teaching expertise on training that is directly relevant to the workplace.

• Business Course – developing practical business knowledge and skills through an English-medium programme based on IEC’s experience with the Cambridge International Diploma in Business.

This flexibility allows the programme and training content to be selected according to the needs of the organisation and its participants rather than requiring everyone to follow a predetermined course.

IEC’s decision not to offer public classes is closely connected to the way we approach professional English training.

We believe that organisations benefit most when training is built around their actual needs rather than delivered as a standard programme for a mixed group of unrelated learners.

What About Individual Learners?

If you are an individual looking for a standard English class that you can join independently, IEC’s institutional training model may not be the right fit.

We do not offer public or open-enrolment classes.

However, individual executives who require private, personalised training can enquire about Executive Coaching. These programmes are designed around the individual’s professional objectives and can be delivered one-to-one or one-to-two, at the workplace or online.
