IEC does not offer open-enrolment public classes. Individual training is available through our personalised Executive Coaching programme for senior professionals and executives. Training can be arranged through an employer or directly by the executive and is delivered at the workplace or online.

Yes. IEC is licensed by the Mozambican Ministry of Education under License No. 290, issued on 30 December 2003.

Yes. All of IEC’s current teaching staff are native English speakers. They are university-degree holders and professionally trained as teachers, with ongoing professional development to keep their teaching practices up to date.

Yes. Customised training is one of IEC’s core services. We work with your organisation to understand its objectives, participants and professional requirements, and develop a training programme tailored to your specific needs.

IEC offers different training formats depending on the number of participants and the organisation’s needs:

• Executive Coaching: One-to-one or two participants with one dedicated teacher. Training is personalised to the executive’s professional objectives and schedule, with the flexibility to pause and resume when required.
• Small Group Coaching: Three to six participants with one teacher. Training is personalised to the group’s professional needs, while providing a high level of individual attention.
• Institutional Group Training: Designed for larger groups, with the programme tailored to the organisation’s objectives and professional requirements.

IEC can recommend the most appropriate format and group structure based on your organisation’s requirements.

IEC provides professional English training across a range of sectors, including Business, Finance, Oil & Gas, Medicine, and Hospitality & Tourism. We can also develop training for other professional or industry-specific requirements on request.

Yes. Executive Coaching can be paused and resumed around travel or other professional commitments, allowing the training schedule to adapt to the executive’s availability. This flexibility applies to the one-to-one and two-participant Executive Coaching programmes.

The cost of IEC training depends on your organisation’s or executive’s specific training needs, objectives, group size and preferred delivery format. IEC provides a free, tailored proposal, with the scope, duration and terms of the programme adaptable to your institution’s budget.

Yes. Depending on the programme, IEC can deliver training at your organisation’s premises, at IEC, or online. Workplace training allows programmes to be delivered in a professional environment with minimal disruption to your team’s working routine.

IEC offers both in-person and online training. In-person programmes can be delivered at your organisation’s workplace or at IEC, while online training provides additional flexibility for executives, teams and organisations with demanding schedules. The delivery format can be tailored to your training needs and objectives.

The duration depends on the training programme, participants’ starting level, objectives and schedule. As a general guideline, progressing through one CEFR language level typically requires 90–120 hours of training. IEC will recommend the appropriate duration and schedule based on your organisation’s or executive’s specific needs.
